Getting here
The River Stour is easy to get to. It flows through some of England's most peaceful and rural water environments and is accessible by car, bus and train.
By train: The Stour Valley is very accessible by train and lies only 1 hour away from London. Train stations are available at Manningtree, Sudbury and Bures. For information on rail timetables contact National Rail Enquiries or call 0845 48 49 50.
By road: The A12 provides an important road link to Ipswich, Colchester and London.
The A14 provides fast and easy access to the River Stour from the Midlands and with links from the M25 from London. The area can also be accessed via the A140 from Norfolk which joins to the A14.
